Nicole was born in St. Louis, Missouri at Barnes Hospital to Ardel (White) Nelson and Daryl Wren on February 3rd, 1972. Nicole's family and friends affectionately called her "Nikki." She was educated in the Salinas Public School System in California.
Nicole later relocated to Southern California where she met and married Raymond Smith and had five children. She developed a passion for cooking and attended Valley College in San Bernardino earning her Culinary Arts Certificate.
Nicole had a beautiful soul, she was a loving, committed, and dedicated mother to her children for whom she loved to cook. Nicole made it a point to always host family events every Sunday where she enjoyed spending time with her family. She always enjoyed playing her music loud so the whole neighborhood could hear, lol, followed by games of dominoes, cards or puzzles,as well as dancing.
Nicole gave her life to Jesus Christ at First Apostolic Church of Greenville.
Nicole was given her wings on January 2nd, 2025 leaving to cherish her memory: her mother, Ardel Nelson, her five children, Jamal Smith, Jovana Smith, Javian Smith, Je'Aughnna Smith and Jaylen Smith, along with 8 grandchildren, Anilah Smith, Jahvontea Smith, Javian Smith Jr, Ameelah Smith, Jaceon Smith, Ty'vana Smith, Devonta Martin, Victoria Smith and a host of nieces, nephews,cousins other dear relatives and friends. She was proceeded in death by her grandparents, Odell and Rosie White, her sister, Theresa Haynes, her father, Daryl Wren, uncle Darrell White and her aunt Terry Ann White.
