Mary Mason

Mary Mason was born on November 2, 1950, to the late Fannie Mason and James Mason. She dedicated many years of her life to serving others, working at Kmart for 13 years, where she enjoyed interacting with people. Later, she embraced her true calling by running her own childcare service, lovingly caring for her grandchildren.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce her passing on February 18, 2025, as she joined the Lord’s Kingdom. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend who touched the lives of many with her kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved children: Melinda Mason, Vicki Wright, Trena Wright, Lakeisha Mason, and Robert Adams. She was preceded in death by her son, Eddie Wright Jr., with whom she is now reunited in peace. Also preceding her in death were her brother, Charlie Pharaoh, and her longtime common-law husband, Robert Adams Sr.

Mary’s legacy lives on through her 22 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, who will forever carry her love and wisdom in their hearts.

She was a woman of strength and compassion, always putting family first. Her love, laughter, and warmth will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

A celebration of her life will be held to honor the beautiful memories she leaves behind. Though she may be gone from our sight, she will forever remain in our hearts.
