Gregory "Moe" Moore Sr., was born in Saint Louis, Missouri to the union of Earl and Alberta Moore on July 15, 1953. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Marie Moore, both parents and one brother, Jeffrey Moore.
Gregory was educated in the Saint Louis Public System and graduated from Soldan High School in 1972 after spending majority of his High School years at Vashon High School.
Gregory openly confessed his love for God at an early age. His love for God lead him to become a minister. He received his ministry license on July 1, 2012. Gregory was a founding member of Christ Embassy Church International under the leadership of Bishop Earl Childress.
Gregory enjoyed dancing, singing and was a profound athlete especially in basketball and baseball. As a young man, he worked selling newspapers and helped in summer youth programs. As he became older he began working in the manufacturing industry.
Gregory had a true love for God and music. He made sure he spoke highly about his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to everyone that listened. He danced at every gathering he attended and sang every praise and worship song that came on. He also participated in his family's choir in a very joyful manner. He also enjoyed spending time with his wife and grandchildren.
Gregory was united in holy matrimony to Ellen Marie Moore on March 25, 1990. From this union one child, Ellen Marie Moore, was born adding to their blended family of 7.
Gregory leaves to cherish his memory eight children, Sonja Hill (George), Sylvia Meredith, Aaron Riley (Kevino), Gregory Moore Jr., Antonio Riley (Lynda), Aree Riley (Joi), Crystal McJames (Derrick), Ellen Moore; seven siblings, Earl Moore Jr., Ronald Moore (Gwen), Yvonne Moore, Pamela Selders (John), Kathy Moore, Alberta "Birdie" Winfrey (Seth); twenty-five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
