Earlene was born February 22, 1961, in St. Louis, Missouri to James and Joyce Scaife.


She was educated in the St. Louis city public school system. Throughout her school years she participated in the Memorial Lancer Drum and Bugle Corps as a color guard, where she discovered her love for dancing and music. She received her high school diploma from Sumner High.


Earlene married Johnny Jones February 18,1993. She was a loving daughter and wife. A very devoted mother and best friend to her son and daughter. She had a heart of gold, she was a free spirit, always the life of the party, and loved to have fun. She served as a banquet server for over 15 years and also loved to cook.


Her father (James), brother (Michael), and sister (Debra) preceded her in death. Earlene transitioned peacefully October 19, 2022 at 1:20AM.


She leaves to cherish her memories and love: her husband (Johnny), her mother (Joyce),her sister (Phyllis), her son (Cortez (3 children)), her daughter (Arlene/Jonathan (3 children), step-daughter (Lucretia (6 children), step-son (James (3 children), and a host of other relatives and friends.
